“ If the old burger place' is the ambiance one is seeking, this is it. Gotta love that MR Happy Burger himself ( at 88 years old) chats with his customers, while they wait in line to place an order. The drive up window line was long and the inside line wS a bit shorter, but the employes' efficiency was excellent and lessened the expected wait. Because of a shortage of people wanting to work, the ice cream parlor was closed during lunch rush.. sad, since I was looking forward to a good sundae I heard Mr Happy is looking for a buyer; hopefully a new owner can maintain the charm . ”

“ A must visit every time we are in town. My wife is from Logansport, and grew up eating here, so every time we come back....we stop back by. The owner, Bob Shanks, is almost always there and makes us feel at home; he is a truly a sweet man. The restaurant reminds you of a 50s diner, with the ice cream parlor inside it and model train decor. If you have kids, make sure you sit in the back and there is a small train car that the kids will love to sit in while they eat. As for the menu, their strombolis are amazing, and I typically chase it with a vanilla coke. Their pork tenderloin is pretty tasty as well. ”
